What Is The Advanced Adventurer?

Think of this course as guided experience. Instead of sitting in a classroom, you are out on the boat. You will complete 5 Adventure Dives. Two are mandatory (Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation), and the other three you choose with your instructor based on your interests and the conditions in Bahía Solano (like Night Diving, Perfect Buoyancy, or Boat Diving).

How It Works (Step-by-Step)

  • Step 1: Digital Learning (Home): Read the short chapters for the 5 dives you plan to do. It’s quick, practical theory focused on safety and skills.

  • Step 3: Navigation Dive (Mandatory): Learn to use a compass and natural landmarks so you never feel lost underwater again.

  • Step 4: Three Elective Dives: Choose your adventure!
    • Wreck Diving: Explore the famous Sebastian de Belalcazar shipwreck.

    • Night Diving: See the reef glow in the dark with bioluminescence.

    • Perfect Buoyancy: Hover effortlessly and save air.

    • Fish ID: Learn the names of the Pacific creatures.

  • Step 5: Boat/Drift: Master entries and exits in currents.Step 5: Certification: Log your dives, high-five your instructor, and receive your digital SSI Advanced Adventurer card immediately.
